Camping du Lac Rules and Regulations***
(Leisure Centre)
These regulations define the conditions of access and use, and ensure the proper maintenance and order of the campsite for all users. They are posted at the campsite entrance and in the restrooms, and are provided to campers upon request. They supplement the campsite’s general terms and conditions.
A. General Terms and Conditions
1. Admission and application
To be admitted to the campsite, set up camp, and stay there, you must have prior authorization from the manager (campsite reception or leisure park entrance reception). Wearing the wristband is mandatory to allow your identification as a campsite resident. Staying at the campsite implies acceptance of these regulations and the general regulations of the leisure park, and a commitment to abide by them.
2. Police formalities
Anyone planning to stay at least one night at the campsite must first present identification and complete the required administrative formalities.
3. Minors
Campers aged 16 to 17 who are not accompanied by their parents will only be admitted with written authorization from their parents, which must also include the full contact details and telephone number of an adult to be contacted in case of emergency. Minors aged 15 and under are only permitted to stay if accompanied by an adult who must also be present overnight.
4. Installation
Camping equipment must be set up in the designated location in accordance with the instructions given by the campsite staff.
5. Reception desk
Opening hours are displayed. Information and payments can also be obtained
at the main reception desk at the entrance to the leisure centre.
6. Royalties
Fees are paid at the reception offices. The amount is posted outside the reception office. They are due according to the number of nights spent on the site.
7. Noise and silence
Campers are strongly urged to avoid any noise or conversations that might disturb their neighbors. Complete silence is required between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. All gatherings for festive purposes are prohibited.
8. Animals
Animals are allowed on the premises only upon presentation of a valid rabies vaccination certificate and compliance with current regulations. Dogs and other animals must never be left unattended or alone in the facilities. All animals are prohibited in the restrooms. Category 1 and 2 dogs are strictly prohibited. Owners are legally responsible for their animals and must comply with the applicable regulations regarding muzzles for their dog’s category.
9. Visitors
Campers may receive one or more visitors at reception. These visitors are admitted to the campsite after approval from reception staff and payment of the entrance fee. Visitors must leave the site before 9:30 p.m., the closing time of the leisure center. After this time, visitors or the camper hosting them must pay the applicable nightly rate.
10. Vehicles
Vehicles must be registered at the reception desk. Vehicles must not exceed 10 km/h and must respect the direction of traffic. Only registered camper vehicles may circulate and park on the campsite without obstructing traffic. All traffic is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Visitor vehicles must be parked outside the campsite. Washing vehicles with water is strictly prohibited.
11. Maintenance and appearance of facilities
Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly the sanitary facilities. Hanging laundry from trees, hedges, wooden barriers, or clotheslines installed between trees is not permitted; it is allowed on mobile drying racks. Wastewater must not be thrown on the ground or into gutters but must be emptied into the designated facilities. Household waste, rubbish of any kind, and paper must be deposited in the bins at the campsite entrance according to the current sorting guidelines: be environmentally conscious! Washing is strictly prohibited outside of the designated containers. Plants and floral decorations must be respected. Campers are prohibited from hammering nails into trees, cutting branches, or planting anything. It is also forbidden to mark out the pitch with any installation or personal means, nor to dig in the ground. Any simple construction (shelter, sheet metal, etc.) is not permitted. Campers are prohibited from interfering with the campsite’s electrical installations. Any damage caused to the installations will be the responsibility of the person who caused it. It is the camper’s responsibility to have taken out appropriate insurance.
12. Security and insurance
Fire. Open fires on the ground are strictly prohibited. BBQs are available near the restrooms. Stoves must be kept in good working order. A first aid kit is located at the reception office. Theft. Management is responsible for items left at the office and has a general obligation to supervise the campsite. Campers are responsible for their own equipment and must report any suspicious behavior to reception. Campers are advised to take all usual precautions to safeguard their belongings. It is the camper’s responsibility to have appropriate insurance.
13. Offense
The staff of the establishment are authorized to make all decisions concerning safety and order within the site. Their instructions and directives must be respected by everyone, under all circumstances. They determine the appropriateness of any measures deemed necessary, particularly in emergencies, and users must comply with these measures: warnings, injunctions, expulsion of those violating the regulations, calling the police or external emergency services, and evacuation of the site.
14. Reimbursement
The only circumstances that may entitle you to a refund are (upon presentation of official documentation):
Death of a close relative, hospitalization, summons to a job interview more than 2 hours away, summons to an appointment with Pôle Emploi (the French public employment service) more than 2 hours away.
15. Alcohol
The transport, possession, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited in the public areas of the Camping du Lac and the Jumièges-Le Mesnil Leisure Centre. This prohibition is enforced according to the posted municipal regulations.
B. SPECIAL CONDITIONS
16. Length of stay
The stay is calculated from 3pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure.
17. Vehicles
Vans, commercial vehicles and goods transport vehicles are not permitted.
18. The base barrier pass
It is possible to request a pass at the reception desk to open the main gate of the leisure park for a deposit of 20 Euros. Only one pass will be issued per registered vehicle. Vehicles entering the leisure park after 10 p.m. must not drive on the campsite and must remain parked outside the campsite.
19. Data Protection Act
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access and rectify information concerning you, which you can exercise by contacting the reception offices (campsite and leisure centre), which will ensure respect for its confidentiality.
20. Quality
A book for campers to leave suggestions and comments is available to campsite users. Complaints will be considered as soon as possible provided they are signed, dated, and as specific as possible, and relate to relatively recent events.
